This project was produced for a school project with the initiative to help residences in British Columbia be better prepared and informed during wildfires. The design and prototype make use of the advancing AI technology in the industry today and how we can incorporate it into a wildfire app.
Throughout the project I took part in doing secondary research, competitive analysis, user research, conducting interviews, creating a design system, wireframes and prototyping using various tools such as Figma, Protopie and Webflow.
Learning Outcomes
By taking part in this project, I was able to better understand the underlying technology behind AI and various design domains for targeting wild fires. I was able to conduct various user testings through developing a prototype and iterate my design to improve the user experience. This project gave me an insight into the efforts required to develop a user friendly and efficient app interface through the initial steps from research to competitive analysis to user interviews to app identity to wire framing to interactive patterns to user testing and finalizing the prototype.
